Townsend and Renaudon were employed by Marcus Machine and Tools Ltd to provide Employers Agent services on their circa £2,200,000 industrial unit scheme to provide 3 number single storey industrial units with the provision of parking facilities for forty Vehicles.
The ground structure below comprised varying depths of made ground which utilised a driven piled solution. Car parking bays were designed with porous paving with attenuation connected
to the main storm sewer in order to achieve the required water flow rates. The units contain internal pods which include reception, office area, kitchen facilities and WC facilities. The units were designed so that they can be split from between 3 to 9 workable units will
separate gas, water and electric facilities.
